Assinaram em 29 de novembro de 2024 Memorando de Entendimento para fortalecer o desempenho de suas respectivas atribuições na garantia do funcionamento seguro e sólido das entidades por eles supervisionadas.
O novo acordo atualiza e substitui o Memorando assinado em junho de 2012 e reafirma as bases para uma cooperação eficaz entre os dois órgãos supervisores, abordando, entre outros aspectos, o intercâmbio de informações relacionadas com a situação econômico-financeira das entidades supervisionadas, resiliência operacional e segurança cibernética, planos de resolução e avaliação de resolubilidade, confidencialidade da informação, e Prevenção à Lavagem de Dinheiro e ao Financiamento do Terrorismo (PLD/FT), bem como a realização de inspeções nas entidades supervisionadas localizadas na jurisdição da outra autoridade.
O Memorando foi assinado pelo Diretor de Fiscalização do BCB, Ailton de Aquino Santos, e pelo Vice-Ministro da NFRA, Xiao Yuanqi, durante reunião realizada no BCB em São Paulo.
